Community Gatepath has been serving individuals with disabilities and special needs on the San Francisco Peninsula for over 100 years. Their programs span the full lifespan, from early intervention and pediatric therapies to adult employment services and community programs. They offer speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, early childhood special education, social skills groups, employment training, assistive technology services, and family support programs. Their approach is rooted in the belief that every person deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Early Intervention (0-3)
Free developmental services for infants and toddlers who have delays or disabilities. Services are provided in your home or community settings.
Early ChildhoodSpeech & Language Therapy
Speech-language pathologists help with communication challenges including speech sounds, language development, social communication, stuttering, and feeding issues.
TherapyOccupational Therapy
Occupational therapists help build skills for daily living, including fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, handwriting, and adaptive behavior.
TherapyEmployment Services
Employment services help people with disabilities find and keep meaningful jobs through job coaching, skills training, supported employment, and vocational rehabilitation.
Adult ServicesFamily Support Groups
Parent and family support groups connect caregivers of people with disabilities for emotional support, information sharing, and community building.

Families appreciate the skilled therapists and flexible scheduling. Therapy approaches are individualized and include parent coaching for home practice.
Recent Experiences
We have been taking our son to Gatepath for speech therapy for about a year. His SLP is excellent and uses a variety of approaches to keep him engaged. She also taught us strategies to use at home which made a big difference. The scheduling is flexible and the front desk staff are always friendly and accommodating.
